Recommended Glide Wax Kits

Pioneer Midwest is recommending some excellent options to use not only this season but in future seasons as well.  There are many liquid spray waxes that are high quality and can be used in lieu of an iron and wax bench.  These liquid waxes, along with the listed brushes are what Pioneer Midwest is recommending to teams and athletes.  

Level 1:

• Rex G21 

• Nylon Brush

Level 2:

Level 3:

Recommended Kick Wax Kits

Level 1 (Basic):

• For kick waxing, you need wax, a cork, and a scraper.  Pioneer Midwest sells a kit with cold (under 10 degrees), regular (10-25 degrees), and warm (25-35 degrees) for $35

Level 2 (Next step):

• Add Rex N41, which works very well in man-made snow. $25 at Pioneer.

• Add kick wax remover to make your cleanup easier. $14 at Pioneer. 

Level 3 (Next next step):

• Add Swix VP65 and VP70 for very warm conditions, $27 each at Pioneer

That combination will work for almost all the classic skiing we ever will do!
